Welcome
to our Dairy Plant where we make our ice cream. It's part
of Guernsey Farms Dairy complex in Northville. Each month
we produce10,000 gallons of ice cream.

1.
Holding tank - Fresh cream and milk is blended
with our special formula of powders and sugars. The
mix is the processed through the HTST and pumped to
the holding tank.

Temperatue Short Time(HTST)
2.
Mixing Tank- The ice cream mix is blended with
backgrounds.
3.
Freezer Tank - The ice cream is pumped through
a freezer and is transformed from 32 degrees to a
frozen state.
4.
Freezing Machine - The frozen ice cream comes
out here.
5.
Nut & Fruit Feeder - Nuts and fruit are added.
6.
Variegating Ripple Machine - The fudges, caramels
and fruit swirls are rippled throughout the ice cream.
7.
Ice Cream is packaged.
8.
Half Gallon & 3.5 Gallon Filler - The ice
cream is packaged in the appropriate container and
stored at 20 degrees below zero.
